UPDATE

I haven't posted in a while, mostly because I've had some bad news and thus having a hard time concentrating on knitting, blogging, etc. My hubby was diagnosed with a type of lymphoma cancer (they're still not sure which type yet). This was a real blow to us, as he had it 25 years ago so we know what lies ahead. He's still in the taking test stage - has a full body CT scan on Friday then hopefully treatment can begin in the next week.
I do have good news, our daughter and family will be coming from Pittsburgh for a short visit the weekend of Feb. 27th. Will be great to see them.

I'm working on a spa set - handtowel at the moment, which is rather mindless and kills time while sitting in doctor's offices. I've gauged out some beautiful Dream in Color Smooshy for a pair of socks and want to get started on them.

SUPER SUNDAY

While hubby is watching golf and football today, I'm in my office catching up on a few things, posting to Quicken, and getting ready to prepare our income tax.

I missed my bi-weekly knitting meetup yesterday and felt like something was really missing. I do so enjoy going and chatting with everyone and doing a little knitting besides.

But this is the reason I wasn't there. It's all about the grandkids - right? They were in a gymnastics meet yesterday, so we spent about 7 hours sitting in a gym watching all levels of competition. It's great fun, but does get a little long. The top photo (2nd in the line) is the older one, and she received first place ribbons. She's awesome and went to Nationals last year and did quite well. The next two pictures are of our 6-yr old gdaughter. It was her first meet and she got a first place medal in her age group. Yeah!! She's the one I'm knitting the top-down sweater for (which is nearly finished)
